On August 18, 2006 the Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago began televising its proceedings via a dedicated television Channel available to cable subscribers in Trinidad. Web streaming of the Parliament Channel began shortly thereafter. In November of 2007, the Parliament began broadcasting its proceedings via FM Radio on a dedicated frequency (105.5FM). This frequency is available in Trinidad and Tobago.
Soon the Parliament Channel will begin broadcasting over free to air television, thus allowing all citizens access to proceedings of the Senate, House of Representatives and Committees.
