Remarks:
  • The Bill seeks to amend section 9 of the National Lotteries Act, Chap. 21:04 to vest the Board with wider powers than it was previously able to exercise.

  • A new section 20A has been created to specifically enable the Board to, inter alia, acquire and hold property whilst also permitting the disposal of property which is no longer required for the purposes of the Board.

  • Additionally, section 21 of the Act is amended to empower the Board to utilize its revenue for an additional purpose under that section.
