Remarks: The object of the Bill is to treat with certain deficiencies in the Adoption of Children Act, No. 67 of 2000 (“the Act”) which has not yet been proclaimed and to replace the Adoption Board with the Children’s Authority with respect to responsibility for the adoption of children. This Bill lapsed upon the dissolution of the 8th Parliament on 28 September 2007
