Remarks:

The purpose of this Bill is to facilitate the implementation of the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas, including the CARICOM Single Market and Economy ("The Revised Treaty") removing certain provisions in the legislation of Trinidad and Tobago. These provisions have been determined by the CARICOM Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) to be inconsistent with the Revised Treaty.
