Remarks: This Bill seeks to amend the Copyright Act, 1997 (Act No. 8 of 1997) to facilitate Trinidad and Tobago’s accession to the World Intellectual Property Copyright Treaty and to the World Intellectual Property Performances and Phonogram Treaty and to strengthen the enforcement provisions of the Act. The Bill was referred to a Special Select Committee of the House of Representatives on 17 December 2004 The Bill lapsed upon the prorogation of the Third Session of the Eighth Parliament on 08 September 2005
