Call for Submissions - JSC SSPA - Effects of the Hybrid/Blended Learning System on Student Performance

 CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

THE JOINT SELECT COMMITTEE ON
SOCIAL SERVICES AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

The above named Joint Select Committee has commenced an inquiry into the effects of the hybrid/blended learning system on student performance in government and government-assisted schools during the revised COVID-19 restrictions.

 

The objectives of this inquiry are as follows:

  1. To assess the effectiveness of the hybrid learning system used by government and government-assisted schools in curriculum delivery;

 

  1. To compare and contrast student performance using traditional versus hybrid learning systems for similar time periods;

 

  1. To examine the systems and methods used to monitor and evaluate student performance in the hybrid learning environment; and

 

  1. To assess the readiness of the hybrid learning system to adequately prepare students for external examinations.

 

The Committee is therefore inviting interested persons and organisations to submit written comments, suggestions and recommendations on this matter.

 

Members of the public are reminded that submissions should observe the principles of relevance, clarity, conciseness and accuracy. 

 

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS
WEDNESDAY JANUARY 20, 2021 at 4:00 P.M.
